The entrance fee is $5.00.   Please make all checks payable to Glacier Park ElementaryThe deadline for accepting money will be Thursday, May 29th.

Mr. O’Connell will be facilitating this field trip and that is his main school. There are other opportunities that cost extra.

The “On Stage” experience (pretend you’re a rock-n-roll star) costs an additional $4.95 plus tax.   You can also purchase a CD of your performance for $10.00.  These additional expenses do not need to be paid in advance.

You may bring a sack lunch or you may purchase food from the Seattle Center food court, as long as you stay w/ your group!  No wandering by yourself!

No back packs, food, drinks or flash photography are allowed in the EMP, we will leave those things on the bus.  There are some places to check necessary baggage, if you have a special/medical need.

We will not be performing, so no instruments will be needed.

Attendance at our spring concert is required for the field trip

If a student has a legitimate conflict, a written explanation must be received two days before the concert.  If there is no written explanation and/or absent from the concert means you will not be going on our field trip.

Our final concerts will be:      LW and RC Band: May 29th, @ TMS 7:00 pm.                   SL and GP Band: May 28th, @ TMS 7:00 pm.

The last day of Band will be Thursday, June 5th.

Chaperones are very important!  We would like to have a ratio of 3-4 students to one chaperone.  All interested parents/guardians can call or E-mail Mr. O’Connell at GPES.   All chaperones must have viewed the Districts “Chaperone Training Video” in order to participate.   If we do not get enough chaperones we can not go!

You may bring a sack lunch or you may purchase food from the Seattle Center food court, as long as you stay w/ your group!  No wandering by yourself!

This is a museum and should be treated as such.   We will be respectful of other people and the exhibits.   We will also be respectful of our chaperones.   We are ambassadors for our school district, so we want to show everyone how well we can behave!

We will have a great time!!!!!!!
