Directions to GPES
We are located off Maple Valley Highway – SR169
Glacier Park Elementary is located about 20 miles southeast of Seattle in the community of Maple Valley. We are near the intersection of Kent-Kangley and Maple Valley Highway.
From the Airport:
Follow the airport signs that say To Freeway and To I-405.
Take I-405 towards Renton. Take the Maple Valley Enumclaw SR 169 exit. Go right at the end of the exit ramp.
It is about 13 miles to Glacier Park Elementary School from I-405. Stay on Maple Valley Highway (also called Maple Valley-Black Diamond Rd.) and continue straight through the lights at the Highway 18 Junction (you will see the Fire Department and the King County Sheriff’s office.)
Turn right at the light onto 280th.
Follow 280th until you see Glacier Park on your right.
From the North:
Take I-5 south to I-405. Take I-405 south towards Renton. Take the Maple Valley Enumclaw SR 169 exit. After the exit, the second stop light is Maple Valley Highway, SR 169. Go left (underneath 405) towards Maple Valley and Enumclaw.
It is about 13 miles to Glacier Park Elementary School from I-405. Stay on Maple Valley Highway (also called Maple Valley-Black Diamond Rd.) and continue straight through the lights at the Highway 18 Junction (you will see the Fire Department and the King County Sheriff’s office.)
Turn right at the light onto 280th.
Follow 280th until you see Glacier Park on your right.
From the East:
Take Highway 18 west towards Tacoma. Follow 18 all the way to Maple Valley. Take exit that says SR 169 Maple Valley Enumclaw.
The exit is to the right. Then turn left at the end of the exit to cross back over 18.
It’s about ½ a block to the stop light at Maple Valley Highway SR 169.
Turn right onto Maple Valley Highway (SR 169 south). Go straight through the lights at SE Wax Rd. and Witte Rd.
Turn right at the light onto 280th.
Follow 280th until you see Glacier Park on your right.
From the South:
Take I-5 north toward Seattle.
North of Fife, south of Federal Way, take Highway 18 east towards North Bend. Take the SR 169 Maple Valley Renton exit. At the end of the exit turn right.
Turn right at the stop light onto Maple Valley Highway, SR 169(also called Maple Valley-Black Diamond Rd.).
Go straight through the lights at SE Wax Rd. and Witte Rd.
Turn right at the light onto 280th.
Follow 280th until you see Glacier Park on your right.
