Department of Teaching & Learning

Welcome to the Tahoma School District's Department of Teaching and Learning. Our mission is to support teachers and administrators in their roles to maximize student achievement. We are committed to our students acquiring the six district goals and the state standards as outlined in the Essential Academic Learning Requirements. We provide leadership in the design, development, and selection of curriculum materials, coordinate and deliver staff development for new and experienced educators, and direct the state and district assessments programs.
