Mike Maryanski
Superintendent
Mike Maryanski has been with Tahoma School District all of his professional career, starting as an elementary school teacher in 1970. He served as deputy superintendent from 1989 to 1994 when he was appointed superintendent.
Maryanski has deep roots in South King County. He grew up in Auburn and graduated from Auburn High School. He graduated from Central Washington University and obtained his master’s degree at University of Washington. He lives in Ravensdale with his wife and has two grown children and two grandchildren.
Maryanski’s community involvement is extensive. He is a longtime member of Rotary International, the Greater Maple Valley-Black Diamond Chamber of Commerce, and Maple Valley Communities That Care. In 2004, he was inducted as a member of the Association of Washington Generals in recognition of his service to the community.
