Goals 2005-2010:

Offer varied learning experiences to students that will prepare them academically for success in their chosen life paths.

Responsibly allocate resources to ensure the on-going operation of safe, well-maintained facilities equipped with the necessary infrastructure to support student success.

Retain, hire, and train quality educators and support personnel.

Actively engage and seek participation and support from all segments of the community.

Foster school environments that promote an attachment to school.
Targets for Action 2008-09:

Provide support that addresses non-academic barriers to learning including the social and emotional needs of students.

Implement a software based facilities management program.

Research and present to the Board options for meeting facility needs as identified in the Maintenance Replacement and Improvements document in the Capital Facilities Plan.

Develop a timeline for implementation of standards based grading in all math, language arts, reading, science, and social studies classes.

Develop and implement a long range plan for 21 st Century Learning in all classrooms.

Research, identify and implement additional strategies to increase all substitute pools.

Research and recommend an alternative learning plan to address the needs of students in grades 6-12.
