Staff Development

Courses Now Available

The Tahoma district is offering staff development classes for credit or clock hours with the instructor's/materials fees supported through a course fee of $55.00 ($80.00 out-of-district) paid by each participant at the time of registration. A minimum of ten people is required for a course to be self-supporting. A Prior Approval of College and Clock Hour Credits for Salary Increments form must be submitted to Brenda Hopkins, Human Resources, before the start of any class. The Staff Development Program will refund any Instructor's fee if requested within five business days before the start of the class.

College Credit: If you are taking a class for college credit through Seattle Pacific University the fee, is $38.00 for one quarter college credit.

Clock Hour Credit: If you are taking a class for clock hour credit through Seattle Pacific University, the fee is $15.00 for 10 clock hour credits.
