Where do we go from here?
Assess community needs (both immediate to future)
Pursue possibility of professional/semi-professional groups who might use facility
Publicity to help discover needs, draw advocates into process, etc.
Create a facility which has flexibility to house a variety of arts (gallery space which would hold an art exhibit without requiring entire facility to be opened). Determine the size and function of such a space.
Determine the cost/bond/fundraising issue
Promote the idea in the community
Community Advertising/Inform local arts groups
Mailing List
Visual Displays
Community awareness involvement (businesses)
Review locations for best access to community businesses
Survey to community about level of support for a
P.A.C.
Student input at THS and TJH
Summer arts and drama camps for students in area
Community-wide drama club/summer stock theater for teens/community theater
Suggestions/ideas for next step:
Community concerts to showcase Valley talent, raise funds, demonstrate needs for local use of
P.A.C. (variety show)
Explore staff needed to man a school district facility that would be available to the community
Use as a training center for technical
programs for students
Size analysis, growth projections
Local artist perform-fund raisers
