Resource Room

The Resource Room programs serve identified special education students in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. Special Education Resource staff work together to provide a continuum of services for all individuals with special needs. Each program offers a unique style of interventions and supports for students who need accommodations including in-classroom instruction, curriculum modifications, pull-out support and drop-in work completion assistance. Instructional programs include individualized reading, small group and individual writing, small group and individual math, review of homework, and assistance with projects and reports. Lake Wilderness Elementary School is a place where special education and general education are blended in many ways to support and meet the needs of all students.
