PTA DISTRICT WEBSITE
Thank you volunteers! We appreciate the number of hours that you all put
in to make our school so special. With your hard work and dedication we are able to offer many more programs and activities to our
students.
A sample
of the activities and items that receive PTA funding are Link Crew, Student Club
support, Senior Awards Night, Grad Night, Academic Awards Breakfast, Art Award,
Star Lab and most importantly, our unique Senior Scholarship program.
We would love to
have you as a volunteer! The following events need volunteer staff to run
successfully.
Concessions: Volunteer for one sporting event or more.
Fall: Football, Girls’ soccer
Winter: Girls’ Basketball, Boys’ Basketball, Wrestling
Spring: Track, Boys’ soccer
Grad Night: Senior parents only, to help plan and fund-raise for the after-graduation event.
Espresso:
Parents are needed to work
the espresso stand,
mornings and occasional evenings (3 hours). Please let us know if you are
able to work am/pm or occasionally.
Scholarship Reading: sophomore and junior parents only. Involves one or two days of readings. This determines PTA and community scholarships for graduating seniors.
Hospitality: Commitment of three or four hours, depending on the event. Parent Conferences (fall), Senior Awards Banquet (spring), Academic Breakfast (spring)
Newsletter: Help with sorting the quarterly THS newsletter (3 hours).

MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION
Membership is open to all parents of Tahoma High School students. Registration can be done at our general meetings, but if you’re unable to attend, you can join by mail. Send the following information to Tahoma High PTA Membership, P.O. Box 74, Maple Valley, WA 98038 with your $10 membership fee ($18 if both parents join). Thank you!
