Student Achievement Levels and Weekly Assignments

Fifth Grade Band Levels of Achievement

 

To achieve each level student must:

 

Play all musical bench marks at a moderate tempo with accuracy and precision.

 Demonstrate correct playing posture, hand and fingering position, consistent tonguing and embouchure (mouth/lip position).  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Attends class consistently and is prepared with a book, instrument and necessary equipment, i.e. reeds, valve oil. Also, be able to play and sing the pitch names, and demonstrate the fingerings for :
