Glacier Park Elementary is a partnership among students, staff, families and the community. We demonstrate a commitment to life-long learning and promote the well-being of each individual. We are dedicated to helping all children achieve success. Glacier Park parents and volunteers provide reading support through the Read Naturally Program. We are a K-5 school of 900 students.

  • “ROLL UP DAY!”
We want to share a change with you that impacts how and when your child learns WHO his/her new teacher will be for 2009-2010.  This June we will not be having “Move Up Day” as we have in past years.  This change is for one year only and is a result of budget adjustments that are affecting staff assignments and many families as well.  Instead of Move Up Day, we will be having a “Roll Up Day” on the last day of school, June 19th. All current K-4 students will be meeting the entire team of teachers for their new grade level.  During this Roll Up Day students will receive their school supply list and learning about the units of study for next  year.  Teacher assignments will become available online and posted at Glacier Park on August 27th.

In addition, we are hosting a “Meet and Greet” on August 27 from 1:00 to 2:00 for all students. Your child may bring in his/her school supplies at that time, meet classmates and plan to visit with the teacher.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this temporary change in procedure for our school and district.

  • Peter Pan was a smashing hit on the Glacier Park stage this March.  Fifth grade students, under the direction of Wendy Hogan and Kyobi Hinami sang, danced and acted their hearts out to the delight of audiences.  Peter Pan was played by Benson Gillies and Rachel Bridges; Megan Meeks filled the role of Captain Hook.  Payton Cambia and Stella Hagen played the role of Wendy, the loving older sister to John and Michael.  “Ugg a Wugg", "I Won’t Grow Up", and "I’ve Gotta Crow" were three of the most memorable songs, and audience members will remember this musical for years to come!
